Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive DevSecOps engineer with expertise in Salesforce, Mulesoft platforms to join our Cybersecurity Application Platform Security Team. This role combines expertise in Salesforce, Mulesoft platforms security with a strong foundation in DevSecOps practices to ensure the \'secure by design\', \'secure by default\' principles throughout development, deployment, and operation of Salesforce, Mulesoft platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cybersecurity platforms, with a deep understanding of Salesforce, Mulesoft cloud platforms. This position plays a critical role in assisting customer portfolio teams to secure SaaS, PaaS platforms, maintain compliance and availability.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) Engineer ensures that security is a core part of the software development life cycle (SDLC) by integrating security practices and tools into the company development process. They understand and explain to developers and management the security aspect of development and how to build secure codes. Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with the security and development teams are required for this role.This position will manage and execute the DevSecOps process daily. It will use tools to perform code scans and verifications and collaborate with the development teams and management to analyze the codes, show remediation steps, and identify areas for improvement. It will also work with developers and operations staff to ensure security is a shared responsibility, maintaining a culture of security awareness. THE WORK

This is a position for a Software Engineering Senior on our F35 Pilot Training Devices (PTD) Team.

As a key member of our Software Engineering team, you will:
• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps
• Containerize applications using Docker and Podman
• Develop and maintain scripts using languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of code changes into the CI/CD pipeline
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the CI/CD pipeline, including debugging and optimizing pipeline performance
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, including implementing security scanning and vulnerability management tools
• Develop and maintain documentation for CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting guides.
