THE WORK

This is a position for a Software Engineering Senior on our F35 Pilot Training Devices (PTD) Team.

As a key member of our Software Engineering team, you will:
• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps
• Containerize applications using Docker and Podman
• Develop and maintain scripts using languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of code changes into the CI/CD pipeline
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the CI/CD pipeline, including debugging and optimizing pipeline performance
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, including implementing security scanning and vulnerability management tools
• Develop and maintain documentation for CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting guides.

This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain an Interim Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.

This position is for a networking and distributed systems researcher who will join the Product Security Organization within Boeing Research & Technology (BR&T) to conduct Networking and Cyber Security research.

This position, within the Product Security Organization, involves supporting, leading, and developing software for new networking and cyber security concepts across tactical mobile ad-hoc network protocols, sensor protocols, airborne network overlays, or network management technologies. And mature the concepts and software to prove the feasibility of new network technologies, build prototypes todemonstratethe capability, and test and evaluate prototypes in relevant environments.

Understanding and meeting the requirements of management, peers, customers, and product security stakeholders is essential for this role. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work effectively in a dynamic team environment spanning research and product teams. Additionally, they will need tofacilitatethe successful and secure transition of technology from the research environment to Boeing programs and external customers.

The successful candidate will be capable ofutilizingsoftware tools to program in C, C++, Python, and shell scripts. Experience with routing and transport protocols, network-oriented middleware, wireless and satellite networking systems, networking for embedded systems, tactical communications systems, network management, Quality of Service (QoS), and traffic engineering is highly desirable.

You will carry out functional integration testing between the company’s applications, products, and services. Success in this role will be determined by your ability to successfully perform end-to-end testing of automation processes.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Assess and understand the flow of code and its interaction with various processes
Document processes and client demands for process improvement
Log, manage, and track user issues and cases
Develop new and extend current testing frameworks
Perform some manual regression testing
Troubleshoot bugs and other issues on desktop and web-based platforms
Test automation builds, execution, and script troubleshooting
