JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State is seeking a DevSecOps Integration & Support engineer to join our San Diego office. In this role, you will support node deployment and management for the Depot Integrated Product Team (IPT), including interfacing directly with customers, continuous monitoring, remote patching and baseline update deployment to maintain consistency of installs and preserve cybersecurity posture. As a new member of our team, you’ll work with us to establish an exceptional Node Management & Support team, which is essential to sustaining installed nodes for our customer.

Work directly with customers in a technical roleCollaborate in planning with customersProduce technical documentation to support maintenance of HW/SW systemsDeploy patches and baseline updates to remote sitesMaintain and manage nodes remotelyContinuous monitoring (ACAS or similar)Structure and maintain databasesAdvanced service-desk functions, trouble ticket fielding and resolution
This job can be filled as an Advanced or Senior level depending on the successful candidate’s education, and experience. Minimally requires a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or Science discipline; Master’s Degree preferred. 5+ years of related experience.
