Senior DevSecOps Engineer - Synergis - Atlanta, GA

TITLE: DevSecOps Engineer

LOCATION: Atlanta, GA or Birmingham, AL

ANTICIPATED DURATION: 2-3 year W2 Contract

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for Azure and on-prem environments
Integrate security tools and controls into CI/CD workflows
Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Collaborate with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to implement DevSecOps best practices
Support application deployments using containerization and cloud-native technologies
Monitor application performance and scalability using tools such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights
Implement and manage authentication and security controls (SSO, OAuth, OpenID, etc.)
Contribute to roadmap planning and evaluation of new DevSecOps tools and technologies
Provide guidance on environment provisioning for production and non-production systems

Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on development experience in C#
Strong experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline development
Experience working in Agile development environments
Experience with deployment automation, orchestration, and configuration management
Hands-on experience building and deploying applications in Azure (cloud + on-prem hybrid environments)
Experience with containerization and automated deployment pipelines
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, scalability, and monitoring

Preferred Experience:

Experience with application security, penetration testing, or red teaming
Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security practices
Familiarity with cloud-native authentication (OAuth, OpenID, SSO)
Experience with service-oriented architecture and distributed systems
Background in building large-scale web applications

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $85.00 to $110.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirem
