About the position
As a Security Engineer you will report to the Sr. Manager of Cybersecurity. This role emphasizes protecting IT infrastructure from cyber threats and ensuring operational efficiency, upkeep and reliable operation of infrastructure. This role requires a broad understanding of security principles, threat mitigation, and compliance best practices. \n\nThis position is ideal for someone who enjoys a broad security role, covering network security, application security, incident response, and compliance requirements. \n\nThe following are Security Engineer daily duties:\n\n Monitor security alerts and assist in incident identification, containment and remediation. \n Collaborate with engineers on network and infrastructure security improvement projects across the CAMP enterprise.\n Configure and support security tools like end point protection (Crowdstrike), WAF, SIEM, endpoint protection, and patching vulnerability scanners.\n Assist in security audits, compliance execution, evidence gathering.\n Perform security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and risk analysis.\n Help implement security best practices across corporate IT.\n On call rotation required. \n\nThe ideal candidate will have knowledge across a breadth of systems and security concepts.
